Summer Service Opportunities

We are fast approaching August 23rd: our fourth Summer of Service event and our annual Community Care Day. We'll meet at the church between 8 and 8:30am for Starbucks coffee and fellowship, then get organized and head out to Lents Elementary School by 9am. We'll start cleaning up at 12:30pm, and have an on-site BBQ lunch at 1pm. It's sure to be a great day!
 
Here are some ways you can get involved:

BBQ lunch: we need BBQs, and BBQers! Also, if anyone has access to food they might donate, this would be a big help!
Outdoor Work Supplies: We need wheelbarrows and shovels (for moving bark dust), trowels, clippers, trimmers, etc. Also, if anyone wants to donate some flowers, we will gladly plant them!
Indoor Work Supplies: We need glass cleaner (Windex) and paper towels.
 
If you or anyone you know can help with these areas, please contact Katie! Hopefully our church family is investing in their friends and inviting them to come serve at Lents... hope to see you all there.
