Waumba means Creator in Swahili, thus Waumba Land is an environment where nursery and preschool children can experience relationship with our Creator God. In addition to having their basic needs cared for, little ones will learn three foundational and vital truths:

Through prayer, songs, stories, and interactive play, our children will discover who God is and who He has created them to be.

In the future, Waumba Land will be expanding to encompass the Sunday morning Preschool classes (ages 3 & 4).

Want to get Involved?

While Waumba Land is a program geared for little ones, there are plenty of opportunities for adults to get involved. Storytellers, Small Group Leaders, and people who can interact with children & babies while providing a safe, loving environment are always welcome. Unable to serve on a Sunday morning? There are also things to do during the week, such as gathering and preparing materials for classes. The opportunities are virtually endless, and we would love to help you find your niche in this exciting ministry.
