Planned Giving Ministry

Question: What is Planned Giving?

Answer: Planned Giving is simply "people (givers) doing what they want to do with their assets and gift planners helping them do it" in a way that is most beneficial to the donor and the charity. -(quote by Robert F. Sharpe, Sr.)

Mission of New Hope's Planned Giving Ministry:

Assist current and prospective donors in their estate analysis and charitable gift planning to further the Great Commission at NHCC.

Estate planning may be the single most important act of stewardship that most of us as Christians will ever perform. Appropriate estate planning is beneficial to almost everyone. Whether we are nearing the end of our lives, contemplating retirement, or younger with a growing family, estate planning boils down to determining how, when, and to whom we will transfer the stewardship of what God has entrusted to us when we can no longer serve as stewards ourselves." (quote by Hank Hanagraaff of Christian Research Institute)

What does the Bible say about giving?
Prov 11:11 “Through the blessing of the upright a city is exalted”
Prov 11:25 “A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.”
Prov 13:22 “A good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children, but a sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous.”
