New Hope: Past and Present

On October 14, 1972, founding Pastor Dale Galloway and his wife, Margi, launched the ministry of New Hope Community Church at the 82nd Drive-in Theater and led the Church for its remarkable first 22 years. This ministry began with a dozen pioneers who wanted to do something great for God, committing their lives with time and money to achieve the fulfillment of the New Hope dream: to see lives transformed by the power of Christ's love.

The power of that dream is just as alive today as it was then, with prayer and faith, impacting thousands of lives every week. Because nothing is impossible with God, more faith-filled pioneers today are giving of their time and means to carry on New Hope's vision through many dynamic need meeting ministries.

With a purpose-driven vision to make disciples, New Hope Community Church is dedicated to fulfill the Great Commission. New Hope is a place where people are equipped, trained, and participate in meaningful ministry. All this happens in an atmosphere of love, acceptance and forgiveness.

If you are new to the church or would just like to know how to connect with new friends and find a meaningful place of service, we encourage you to attend the Starting Point orientation. We meet Sundays immediately after each service behind the hospitality cart off the main foyer.
